DJN Consulting Ltd is a SME based in the North West of England and formed by David Nicholas in 2004 following his decision to establish himself as a freelance economics and planning consultant.The company's principle areas of business therefore reflect the expertise of David Nicholas himself.

David's expertise has been gained in over 25 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, in a mix of consultancy and 'client' organisations.

His key areas of expertise, primarily in the regeneration field, include:

• the role of property in economic development
• sustainable development, including the re-use of brownfield land
• area-based marketing, including attraction and retention of mobile investment
• socio-economic research leading to strategy and policy development and
• 'Green Book' investment assessment and option appraisal, including PPP / PFI.
